Come soar through the Zoo with our Avian Touring Docents on another egg-cellent adventure. What group of birds REALLY have green and red feathers, and why? What species of bird has the largest eye of any living land animal? What eagle has claws as long as a grizzly bear’s? Where in the Zoo can you catch a glimpse of California condors? Why is “Cyrano” the scarlet ibis a different color from the others? What birds seal their mates in trees? These answers will be revealed on Saturday, November 23rd; come enjoy an autumn morning with the Zoo’s birds.
