Your path to employment may begin at one of three hiring entities:

• The Los Angeles Zoo is owned and operated by the City of Los Angeles. Staff in the areas of animal care, administration, grounds maintenance, construction, guest services, Learning & Engagement, and public relations are employees of the City of Los Angeles.
• The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA) is a private, nonprofit partner of the Zoo. Staff in the areas of fundraising, membership, marketing, special events, administration, and volunteer services are employed by GLAZA.
• All staff in gift shops, food stands, trams, and catering are employed by the Zoo’s concessionaire, SSA Group, LLC.
