Each ticket is good for one admission to L.A. Zoo Quest: Amazing Apes at the Los Angeles Zoo on Saturday, May 30, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.. No re-entry is allowed.
Event hours are subject to change without notice.
The Zoo’s special event operating schedule is subject to change without notice.
Facilities, exhibits, shows, and services may close temporarily due to weather, maintenance, private events, or other reasons.
L.A. Zoo Quest: Amazing Apes is a special evening event that takes place along a designated path within the Zoo. While you will see some animals, the entire Zoo will not be open. If you are interested in seeing all the animals at the Zoo, come back during daytime Zoo hours of operation. The Zoo is open daily from 10:00 am – 5:00 pm.
Barcoded e-tickets are a revocable license. Admission is subject to compliance with all laws and facility policies. E-ticket holders assume all incidental risks and dangers while visiting the Los Angeles Zoo.
E-tickets are delivered via email and will appear below your order confirmation number. There are two ways to show your tickets at the door: 1) show your mobile ticket on your mobile device, or 2) present your printed ticket at the gate. (Please allow up to one hour for delivery. Your order confirmation number is not your ticket.)
It is unlawful to reproduce e-tickets in any form. In the event of duplication, the L.A. Zoo reserves the right to refuse entry to both the original ticket holder and anyone holding tickets that were duplicated from the original order.
Food is not included in the ticket price. Outside food and beverages, large bags, backpacks, hard/soft coolers, purses, thermoses, glass bottles, balloons, and inflatables will not be permitted. There are no storage lockers at the Zoo.
Only clear plastic bags smaller than 12”x12”x6”, and non-clear wristlets/clutches no larger than 5”x8”x2” are permitted and are subject to search.
Smoking and vaping are not permitted on Zoo grounds, and there is no re-entry.
Free parking is available.

To ensure a safe and enjoyable experience for all guests and for the safety of our animals and staff, all guests must abide by the Code of Conduct detailed here.
By visiting the Zoo, you acknowledge and consent to our photographing, filming, videotaping, recording, or otherwise reproducing your image and/or voice (or that of any minor for whom you serve as legal guardian) and using the same for any purpose, without payment.
This event is rain or shine. No refunds.
Last entry into the event is 7:45 p.m. Front gates will close at 7:45 p.m. Once inside, guests are welcome to stay until 9 p.m. when the event ends.
