Onsite Field Trips
School field trip reservations for the 2024/2025 school year begin August 12.
Pre-school through 12th Grade
Field trips are available during the regular academic school year, Monday through Friday from September through June. All schools must be listed in the California Public/Private School Directory and have a reservation in order to receive the school rate.
Colleges/Universities
Field trips are available during the school session. Reservations required in order to receive the school rate. For Docent-led College Primate or Adaptations Tours, contact docents@lazoo.org
Cost for Student Admission
LAUSD Students: Free Zoo admission
Non-LAUSD Students: $3/student
Private School Students: $3/student
Head Start Students: Free Zoo admission
City of L.A. Recreation & Parks: Free Zoo admission with an authorization letter. Contact the Zoo for details.
Cost for Chaperones (Includes teacher and parents)
Chaperones: One free chaperone included with every 10 students.
Cost for additional chaperones: $5/person
