Tails are amazing appendages! If you had a tail, would you use it for balance, steering, or power? Your tail might be able to double as a warm blanket, a flyswatter, a warning signal, or a fifth limb? Which primates use their tails to throw powerful stink bombs? Why do frogs only have tails when they’re tadpoles? How are some lizards able to leave part of their tail behind, in the grips of a potential predator? Which animals’ tails have unique “fingerprints” at the tip? Come join a walking tour that highlights some of the most amazing tails in the animal kingdom on Saturday, August 23rd!
