BOO at the Zoo – October 19, 20, 26 & 27, 2024

Two weekends of sweet-and-spooky fun! The Halloween spirit will be in full swing for two frightfully fun weekends at the L.A. Zoo, with trick-or-treating stations featuring premium Mars candies, plus animal pumpkin feedings, themed photo ops, story readings, and an extinct animal graveyard. Costumes are encouraged.

L.A. Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow – November 15–January 5 

Explore an immersive landscape filled with dazzling new lantern sculptures of animals among blooming flowers, towering trees, glowing rivers, and more for a nature-focused holiday celebration that’s as inspiring as it is breathtaking. This year’s experience features all-new wonders, including a magical Holiday Forest with majestic pine trees and snow-loving animals, spectacular holiday photo spots, and the return of Santa himself.

Wild for the Planet (Springtime) – March – May 2025

It’s a celebration of our one precious planet and its rich biodiversity, featuring fun and inspiring activities, entertainment, and presentations. Learn about the Zoo’s conservation and sustainability efforts and what you can do to help. Enjoy a “Planting for Pollinators” station, an Earth Expo featuring favorite community and eco partners, live story readings, and much more.
