New Membership Program FAQs
Why is the membership program changing?
Your feedback helps shape the Zoo experience.
Members told us they wanted greater flexibility in who they could bring with them and simpler membership options that better meet the needs of different households.
The new program introduces streamlined membership levels and brings back flexible, unnamed guest benefits at select tiers.
When does the new membership program take effect?
The new membership structure takes effect on November 2, 2026.
Memberships purchased on or after that date will receive benefits under the new structure.
What happens to existing members?
Memberships purchased before November 2, 2026, will continue to receive their current benefits through their existing expiration date.
At renewal, members may select from the new membership options.
Eligible members may also upgrade before renewal by paying the applicable price difference.
Can I upgrade my current membership to one of the new tiers?
Yes. Current members may upgrade onsite at the Membership Booth by paying the applicable price difference.
Upgrading does not change or extend the original membership expiration date.
