Roaring Nights at the L.A. Zoo – July 13 & September 14, 2024

The L.A. Zoo’s wildly popular Roaring Nights series returns in 2024 with a totally tubular ’80s theme! It’s the 21-and-over way to do the Zoo, with dance areas, animal experiences, tasty food and beverages, and more. 

“Cheers” to the highlight of the summer event season, now with tasting delights for nightlife adventurers of all stripes. Explore the Zoo and sample craft brews, distilled spirits, creative cocktails and mocktails, and a range of alcohol-free sips while enjoying music, pop-up animal keeper talks, tasty food available for purchase, and more. Must be 21 or older to attend. 

Zoo Friday Nights – August 9, 16, 23 & 30, 2024

Explore the Zoo on a beautiful summer evening with the entire family! Don’t miss this limited-time opportunity to see what your favorite animals are up to during twilight hours while enjoying musical performances, dancing, games, and interactive education stations, plus paid add-ons like tasty treats. It’s all the fun with less sun! 

BOO at the Zoo – October 19, 20, 26 & 27, 2024

Two weekends of sweet-and-spooky fun! The Halloween spirit will be in full swing for two frightfully fun weekends at the L.A. Zoo, with trick-or-treating stations featuring premium Mars candies, plus animal pumpkin feedings, themed photo ops, story readings, and an extinct animal graveyard. Costumes are encouraged.

Wild for the Planet (Springtime) – March – May 2025

It’s a celebration of our one precious planet and its rich biodiversity, featuring fun and inspiring activities, entertainment, and presentations. Learn about the Zoo’s conservation and sustainability efforts and what you can do to help. Enjoy a “Planting for Pollinators” station, an Earth Expo featuring favorite community and eco partners, live story readings, and much more.
