Accessibility
Limited parking (including accessible spaces) is available adjacent to the play area and larger parking lots are nearby. Restrooms (including single and accessible stalls) are available a short distance away. Our activities will take place primarily in a grass area, and this space is accessible by a combination of grass and paved paths. Some paths are uneven or currently undergoing maintenance.
This event takes place in an open space and is accessible to any park visitor. Due to the public nature of this space, there may be unplanned noises, activity, and visual stimuli near our Family Nature Club location. We will have a limited number of free sensory bags (with headphones and fidgets) available to borrow during the program.
For more information on the program, contact Elise Lolli-Bregoff, Zoo Curator of Education at elise.lollibregoff@lacity.org or (323) 644-4709.
