The Los Angeles Zoo and Cincinnati Zoo & Botanical Gardens have entered into a friendly and wild wager for the upcoming Super Bowl LVI game on Sunday, Feb. 13. Both zoos are rooting for their home teams to win the game and are putting their logos on the line. The losing zoo will change their logo on Feb. 14 for one whole day on social media – incorporating the mascot of the winning team!
“I have no doubt that our Rams will show those Bengals that Los Angeles is the king of championship teams!” said Denise M. Verret, CEO & zoo director of the Los Angeles Zoo. “I cannot wait to see the Cincinnati Zoo’s new logo when we win the game.”
The Los Angeles Zoo’s logo currently incorporates its successful conservation efforts with reptiles, the historic California condor, rhinoceros, and western lowland gorilla. The Zoo is confident that it will not have to change its logo on Feb. 14 and is cheering the Rams to victory.
