L.A. ZOO LIGHTS: ANIMALS AGLOW!

Members of the LGBTQIA+ Community, Their Friends, Families, and Allies Are Invited to Attend A Special L.A. Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow

LOS ANGELES, CA – Jan. 6, 2026 – The Los Angeles Zoo, in partnership and collaboration with LA Pride, welcomes members of the LGBTQIA+ community, their families, friends, and allies to enjoy a special LA Pride Night at L.A. Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow event on Thursday, Jan. 8, 2026. This is the third year that the Zoo has hosted this annual community event.

“The L.A. Zoo strives to be a safe and welcoming place for all of the diverse communities that make up Los Angeles,” said Denise M. Verret, CEO & Zoo Director, L.A. Zoo. “This special evening has become an annual tradition and serves as an example of how the Los Angeles Zoo continues to engage all Angelenos from every background to enjoy their Zoo and kick off their new year.”

This inclusive community night features an all-ages DJ dance party at the Zoo’s Tree Tops Terrace, hosted by DJ Keelez, and a full cocktail bar for adults aged 21+.

“LA Pride Night at Zoo Lights is really about creating space for people to show up as they are, and enjoy something special together,” said Lawrence Carroll, Board President of Christopher Street West Association, producers of LA Pride. “Partnering with the L.A. Zoo gives us a chance to bring our community, our families, and our allies into one of the city’s most beloved traditions, and remind folks that Pride is about joy, connection, and belonging all year long.”

L.A. Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow is L.A.’s wildest holiday tradition. The event runs through Jan. 11, 2025. For the event’s full schedule, information, and ticket pricing, visit www.lazoolights.org.
