One-Night-Only Experience Has Been Designed for Families and Individuals Who Thrive in Sensory Supportive Environments
The Los Angeles Zoo and Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association (GLAZA) are delighted to announce a special Sensory-Inclusive L.A. Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow event on Tuesday, Dec. 5, 2023. This one-night-only experience is designed for families and individuals who thrive in a sensory supportive environment. , ensuring that everyone is welcome to revel in the magic of L.A. Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow. Ticket prices for this event are $18 for children and $29 for adults (13+).
As part of this inclusive community initiative, several modifications will be implemented to create a welcoming environment for all attendees. Guests will experience smaller crowds, quieter music, and the flexibility to exit and reenter the zoo, as needed. KultureCity sensory bags containing noise-canceling headphones, fidget tools, verbal cue cards, and weighted lap pads will be available, at no cost, on a first-come, first-served basis, while supplies last.

L.A. Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow is a festive celebration of nature, wildlife, and the winter holiday season and will run through Jan. 7, 2024. This enchanting festival of lights showcases stunning lantern sculptures, vibrant interactive displays, roaming live entertainment, and festive holiday photo opportunities, creating a magical wonderland of lights beneath the stars. Ticket prices for L.A. Zoo Lights: Animals Aglow start at $18 for children and $29 for adults (13+), with free parking included. GLAZA members can enjoy up to a 27% discount on nightly tickets.
