This season, come to the L.A. Zoo for a wildly unique holiday gift and sustainability fair, produced in partnership with the creative minds at The Odd Market. Plus snow, songs, and Santa – every weekend through December 22nd.
(LOS ANGELES, CA) November 26, 2019 — This year, the L.A. Zoo introduces a “new breed” of holiday fun, with a gift bazaar featuring unique and hand-crafted items, sustainability workshops and crafts, live music, Santa photos, and even “snow flurries” on weekends from November 30 through December 22.
“Winter Wild Weekends at the L.A. Zoo” are produced in partnership with The Odd Market, which specializes in creating one-of-a-kind shopping experiences featuring the best local crafters that L.A. has to offer.
Winter Wild Weekends feature hand-crafted items available for purchase, eco workshops and kids’ craft activities, live music, snow flurries twice daily, holiday treats for select animals, and, of course, photos with Santa (for an additional fee). All activities except Santa photos are free for with paid admission and for Zoo members.
Winter Wild Weekend activities (10 a.m. to 4 p.m. unless otherwise noted):
- Gift bazaar featuring expertly curated local crafters
- Two 30-minute sustainable living workshops per day
- Live music throughout the day
- Eco crafting station
- Holiday presents for the animals (see schedule online)
- Snowfall twice daily in the Holiday Village at Eucalyptus Grove, at 11:30 a.m. and 2:30 p.m.
- Photos with Santa (for an additional fee) from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
