Boo-tiful Activities

Trick-or-treat
Presented by MARS, find six Trick-Or-Treat stations offering Halloween candy 10AM to 3PM each day. Candy stations are lined up along the way from Children’s Zoo to Treetops Terrace. Everyone should plan to bring their own Trick-Or-Treat bags or purchase one at the Zoo’s gift shops. Candy giveaways are available while supplies last.

Halloween headquarters
Don’t miss Halloween Headquarters at Treetop Terrace where there will be games and activities all four days of Boo at the L.A. Zoo. Take time to paint a pumpkin (additional fee) or take part in free programming by partner organizations Give Kids Art(10/24); The LA Public Library (10/25) or watch Bob Baker Marionette Theater’s live performances (11AM and 1PM on 10/31). Each day there is something for everyone.

SPOOKY Conservation
Visit the Conservation Expo at the Rose Garden near the flamingo habitat to learn about the conservation of species commonly associated with the season. The L.A. Zoo and conservation partners will be on hand to share information about bat conservation, vulture/condor conservation, and more.

More to do at the Zoo!
Wandering Costume Characters — Come to the Children’s Zoo and get a photo with one of your favorite family-friendly Halloween characters from film and TV. Each day will feature characters from a different seasonal movie or show, so be sure to check back because you never know who you might run in to!
Inflatable Corn Maze — Get lost, or not so lost, in this new addition to the Boo at the L.A. Zoo experience for kids. Enter the maze (if you dare) and try to find your way out!
Additional Activities
Don’t miss the popular pumpkin and Halloween animal enrichment demonstrations. Schedule coming soon!
