Support the Zoo
There are hundreds of reasons why we are counting on your gifts to support your Zoo.
Did you know that our Zoo attracts over 1.6 million visitors a year? And we are growing. More and more people are coming to the Zoo since it remains one of the most economical entertainment and educational institutions in our city. On any given day you can come to our Zoo and watch hundreds of school children experience exotic wildlife up close. During the summer, holidays and spring, our Zoo hosts a vibrant ZooCamp and even provides scholarships so that underserved children can attend camp. But we would not be a Zoo without the most inspiring wildlife in the world. Our commitment to educating the public about the importance of wildlife and wild places is evident in the humane and nurturing manner in which our wildlife is cared for, exhibited and promoted as ambassadors for endangered species throughout the world. New habitats for our orangutans, chimpanzees and gorillas, as well as those under construction like the Pachyderm Forest for Asian elephants and new Reptile House are examples of the caring and thoughtful manner in which these habitats are designed.
In short, the Zoo is a huge educational and inspirational asset to our community.

Give to GLAZA through Ralphs Club Card Contributions!All Ralphs Club Card members who are currently enrolled in the Ralphs Community Contribution Program will remain active until August 31, 2008. Participants will be required to register for the new term at www.Ralphs.com that will be effective on September 1, 2008. Specific registration dates will be announced shortly. |

Donate Your Car Looking for a tax deduction? Contact Riteway Charity Services at 888/250-4490 or donations@ritewaycharityservices.com and make an appointment for them to pick up your car, boat, or RV. You'll get a receipt, allowing you to deduct 100% of the vehicle's fair market value from your income, as allowed by law. The Greater Los Angeles Zoo Association receives 100% of the net proceeds from your car donation, which will go directly to the Los Angeles Zoo!
