Winter ZooCamp is Around the Corner!
Why does a bear sleep for so long? Where do the birds go when it’s cold? Why does rabbit fur look thicker in winter? If you have ever asked any of these questions than Winter ZooCamp is for you!
Joins us at ZooCamp during winter break to explore the many ways animals survive the chilly winter months. Zoocampers will participate in animal close ups, games, crafts, and activities that will help them discover more about the world’s winters and the adaptations animals have developed in order to survive. From the rainy seasons in the jungles of Africa, to the snowy months of Antarctica, Zoocampers will compare and contrast their own L.A. winters to that of animal kingdom.
Children ages four through nine are sure to have a cool time at the Zoo during Winter ZooCamp!
